We are retired teachers, non-smokers, blessed with four independent children and nine grandchildren, half of whom, two families, live in Eltham, Victoria. We are very interested in visiting Australia during the Australian school holidays. The longest school holiday is the six-week Christmas holiday - this is a difficult time to obtain a home exchange because most people prefer to be with their friends and family over Christmas. We would welcome any exchange of e-mails that relate to a possible Australian home-exchange near Melbourne CBD or North East of Melbourne, at or near Christmas. A period of three weeks minimum and two months maximum is what we are interested in. We have been enjoying home exchanges for several years now and can supply references.
