WIN a pair of tickets to the World Airline Road Race Gala Awards Dinner 2010. Find the famous person (3,5) hidden is the 8 highlighted squares of the crossword and send to competition@warrlondon.com with your name and contact email address by December 25th 2009. The winner will be selected at random from the correct answers.

Tip: Some answers can be found in the promotional leaflet given out during the World Airline Road Race 2009 in Hangzhou.

 

1. This competition is organised by the host committee of the World Airline Road Race 2010 London (BAWHC).  Entry to the competition is conditional on the acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. This competition is open to any participant of a previous world airline road race including the 2009 event in Hangzhou China and future participants of the 2010 London World Airline Road Race.  One entry per world airline road race participant.

3. Members of BAWHC, the British Airways Athletics Club, the International WARR Committee and anyone else directly related to this competition are not eligible to enter.

4. All competition entries must be received by competition@warrlondon by midnight on December 25th 2009.  No responsibility will be taken for any answers that are illegible, misdirected, lost for technical reasons or received after the closing date.

5. The winning competition entry will be that drawn randomly from all correct entries. Correct entries are those with the famous person correctly identified and with name and contact email address provided. The draw will take place after the closing date and the winner will be notified by email within 28 days from that date.

6. BAWHC enter into no correspondence. Players and entrants accept that the decision of the judges shall be final.

7. The competition solution and winner will be published on the site within 28 days of the closing date. Winners agree to have their names displayed on the site but the winners' email address and other details will not be published.

8. The prize is a pair of tickets for the 2010 WARR Gala Awards Dinner. Tickets cover the cost of entry, food and entertainment only.  Specifically drinks, transportation, event registration and accommodations are not included.  The prize is forfeit if the winner does not register for WARR 2010 or if WARR 2010 is cancelled for any reason. The prize cannot be exchanged or transferred and no cash alternative will be offered.

9. If the winner of the prize cannot be traced after reasonable efforts having been made by BAWHC then BAWHC may dispose of the prizes as it thinks fit without any liability to the winner for having done so.

10. Entrants to the competition agree to the use of their provided email addresses for communications by BAWHC and/or the WARR International Committee for the purpose of promoting WARR2010.  Individuals will be able to opt out of such communications thereafter.
